This was the third release of Queen Elizabeth II definitives, Part 1, 1959 was issued in February, March, & October (below); Part 2, 1962 was issued in March, all designs were based on photographs taken by Baron Studios, London of Her Majesty the Queen, there were two booklets released a 4/8d Booklet of 12 x 4d stamps & a 6/- Booklet 12 x 5d stamps all Imperforate on one or two sides. (how to ID the different types to come) The stamps are listed in value order

Australian Native Flower Definitives
Issue 1, Part 1
Designer: Margaret Stones - Engraver: B. Stewart - Printer: W.C.G. McCracken
This issue was released in three parts, Issue 1, Part 1, 1959 (below); Issue 1, Part 2, 1960; Issue 1, Part 3, 1964, the issue was designed by Margaret Stones a botanical artist, (also an Australian) who was attached to the staff of Kew Gardens, London, the 1/6 & 2/5 were both printed on Maize Coloured paper, the 2/- & 3/- were both printed on White paper, while the 2/3 was printed on both Maize & White paper, there was also an Australian Native Flower release from July, 1968 in Decimal currency.

150th Anniversary of the Australian Post Office
Designer: R. Shackel, adapted by Frank D. Manley - Engraver: Frank D. Manley - Printer: W.C.G. McCracken
This issues design was adapted from an unused Post Office poster created by R. Shackel, the design shows Isaac Nichols (Australia's First Postmaster) an ex-convict boarding the "Experiment" a 142 ton brig in Sydney Harbour in 1809.

Centenary of Self Government in Queensland
Designer: G. Lissenden - Engraver: G. Lissenden - Printer: W.C.G. McCracken
Design shows Parliament House, Brisbane, the Queensland Coat of Arms & a Jacaranda tree, this stamp was issued the same day as the opening of the Queensland Stamp Exhibition, Queensland was constituted as a separate colony 6 June, 1859 & the colony was proclaimed in December 1859.

This release shows pose by Queen Elizabeth, (who became the Queen Mother). There were 5 Issues of 11 Parts to this release; Part 1, Issue 1, 1950; Part 1 Issue 2, 1951; Part 1, Issue 3, 1952; Part 2, 1952; Part 3, Issue 1, 1950; Part 3, Issue 2, 1951; Part 3, Issue 3, 1956; Part 3, Issue 4, 1959 (below); Part 4, 1957; Part 5, 1964; Part 6, 1965. Although green in colour on this stamp, the flowers at the side of the stamp below are red flowering Eucalypts.
