This release shows a pose by King George VI & a 2/6 stamp, based on a photograph by Roy Dunstan the image is of a central Australian Aboriginal named "One Pound Jimmy", he was named this as each time he was asked how much he charged to perform a task he replied, "One pound, Boss", his Aboriginal name was Gwoya Jungarai, he died on 28 March, 1965, while on walkabout on the Narweitooma cattle station, west of Alice Springs, although being advanced in years (over 70) his actual age was never known. This was the only issue of Part 2. This issue shows a rover scout in full uniform leaning on his walking staff, again as with the 1948 stamp the model was Frank Manley's son Owen, a similar stamp was issued in November, 1948, but the value was 2½d, the dates were different & it has watermark 47, a further scout series were released in 19 February, 2008.
