In my stamp collection I have 2 labels/stamps that could be considered as Cinderellas ?

They are blue/green in colour on white paper, have the map of Sth Aust. on them with the words

"CINEMA EMERGENCY Trust Fund 5c for charity"

One of them is still attached to a cinema ticket.

Does anyone know the story behind these items.

Hi I have a Stamp it is Australia design a4 (Scott) 4p Olive Bis (although it looks light green to me) The postmark seems to be from 1933. The Watermark as I can make it out is 228 (Scott) The Curious thing is that it is perforated sideways with a "V" and an "O" together. There is another perforation that goes off the stamp... a small "o" and another curved letter or symbol that is bigger than the small "o"

Any ideas what the perforations mean?

Thank you

Rene

:-( I'm not sure if anyone can help me but I'm feeling quite down that I can't find anywhere on the internet that I am a "first" prize winner of the 'Design a Stamp' competition featuring an Australian animal, National Stamp Week 1981. I was presented with a plaque and a certificate by Australia Post to prove it and my design was an owl (which to this day was never returned to me). I would have liked to show my 3 children a copy of my design but can not find anything anywhere on the internet??? I really hope someone can help me???
